Title: Resort Property in Mexico
Post by: Jane Walker on June 23, 2005, 10:30:04 PM
This is a view of the property my daughter and her husband are developing to be a world class resort.  You can see the roads and air strip and a couple cottages are already there.

Another view ... their home will be on the little hill closest to the ocean, where the lagoon empties into ocean near the rock formation.

Here's a closer view, from the ocean.  Their homesite is in the lower left.

These views are just gorgeous, Jane.  I've seen them already, but they still are worth looking at.  Someday you can show me, from these same photos, where your home sits. :) :)

Thanks for letting me share with you.  Of course it is still in the beginning stages of development but they have lots of ideas of what they want to do with it.  They would like for it to be a Destination (for the rich and famous?) rather than a stopover on a vacation or cruise ship.  I've seen the brochure promoting the property to investors.  My daughter's job was to translate all the language from Spanish into English ... or was it the other way around  ??? ...  Now she has the job of putting together other, more detailed plans for developing certain aspects of it.  As I said, I'm just content to let someone else do all that sort of thing and "call me when it's ready!"  ;D

Janet~I don't know if I ever told you ... my daughter took lessons and is now a certiified diver ... she would be so happy to have you visit (whether or not I'm there) and y'all could share diving experiences.  God is sooooo good -- all the time.  I look forward to the time you will be able to meet Joy and share diving experiences and maybe I'll be along for the ride as well... Just let God be God and He will take care of all the details.  I know this for a fact!   :D

AMEN, Jane!  I am in full agreement with you!  I would love to meet Joy and YOU, and talk about diving.  Diving is such an enjoyable experience and almost every dive is unique.  I do love it.  :)  And no, you hadn't told me that before, but I'm very happy to hear it!

Thanks, Mom, for sharing my "project"  god is with us every step of the way.  There is NO WAY we could every even conceive of doing this on our own.  It is truly God's project.  He has given into our hands.  My husband and I will write a book on all the many miracles and daily devine appointments that we have encountered on this project's journey.......It has been over a year since we discovered this 2300 acre piece of paradise and we are still waiting to begin construction.  So it will be a couple of years before we actually get to build our home on the hill overlooking both the sea and the lake.  I can't wait to dive there too!  But I am just a beginner, so I need to have a dive master come along for the first few dives anyway.

I will extend an invitation to you all.  You don't need to be rich and famous, to stay in our guest house!!!  Mi Casa es Su Casa!!  -- I'll let you know when we get it built!  It will be nice

John --- my husband -- has a lot of work on his shoulders -- big responsibility -- but he carries it well because he knows that he doesn't walk alone!  He says repeatedly every day -- This is God's project, and for some strange reason He has entrusted it to me........we hope to be good stewards with this.  We may never know why --- and we may never ask --- we are just available vessels for God's purposes.

Joy

Thanks for stepping in here, Joy ... I love hearing of all the miracles and divine appointments you and John experience daily.  In His time .....
