Beautiful. The statues around the fountain....what are they doing?

I'm like Judy and curious about the statues. The one on the right in this photos seems to be holding a child.

Four Indian women. One is planting, one is tending crops, one giving thanks for harvest, and one holding a child, if I remember correctly.
