Don't you just love to watch the world wake up?

Oh how can anyone say we haven't a personal God?  How can anyone reduce these magnificent displays of beauty to technical terms alone?  Oh bless the Lord!

Yes, these were taken in SC a couple of weeks ago.
I sat and watched this sunrise on a cloudy morning from our balcony.

Reminds me of lines from Rudyard Kipling:

"Come you back, you British soldier; come you back to Mandalay!"
    Come you back to Mandalay,
    Where the old Flotilla lay:
Can't you 'ear their paddles chunkin' from Rangoon to Mandalay?
    On the road to Mandalay,
    Where the flyin'-fishes play,
An' the dawn comes up like thunder outer China 'crost the Bay!

Beautiful images, the sort of thing I imagined when I first read those lines.   Thanks for showing them to us.

Oooh, a wonderful build up of clouds from the baseline of the horizon.
