I took this picture on my birthday. What a great day I had! After a full day of fun in Julian with my sister and youngest daughter, my family took me to dinner at Fidel's by the beach where we ate outside on the patio. Then, we headed shoreside for some sunset photography. I got some great shots that evening and this is one of them. I got some of my daughter doing her Irish Dance leaps during that same time of shooting. I will try to post one of those, too. This was my first time using my new ND filter. It's amazing and sure saved me time at the computer. See gallery for larger view of this shot.

Really lovely, Kathleen. I so like the colours of the sky. What a lovely trip you had!

That one would probably be accepted by one of the stock photo companies. Very nice work indeed.

This photo was taken at Carlsbad, California.
