Back in the 50's and 60's our Aunt Betty worked summers at Upper Canada Village spinning wool and weaving it into cloth.  We have a picture of her showing Queen Elizabeth what she is doing!

My father used to have me row him in just such a boat on one of our local lakes, while he fished. 

Judy, how about scanning that picture and posting it?   :)
