Mount Rushmore, South Dakota. Taken on an extended road trip I took last year through the western states of America. God's backyard is very beautiful!

Have a great weekend everybody. God bless.
I have been there a few times. Looks like they did do the renovations...their faces look a lot cleaner!!!
Great Job!!!!!
I have just spent an hour looking at your photos on both sites. I especially liked all the photos of Yosemite. I lived there as a child My Aunt was the Postmistress in Yosemite for 30 years. and My uncle worked for Yosemite Park and Curry company as a business manager.
I have been to Glacier point, many times and have also taken all my children to visit Yosemite. I was there before the trams. We could go anyplace without being stopped.

Thank you. If you link to my site and see a bigger version of this picture you will see men working on the granite. They were cleaning and also preparing for the winter (I was there last year in mid-September) by filling in the cracks to prevent further damage. It was my first time there and would love to go back.
Cheers,
Sam
Sam, I've never been there but I sure would like to go!
What a wonderful photograph. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hope you've opened a gallery on here as well. We just recently enlarged our webspace and bandwidth so that we could enjoy the photos in the gallery too.
Very nice photo. I love the deep blue sky!
Did you use a polarizing lens ???

Bircher, I spent some time tonight looking at your California trip photos. Wow! Lovely shots. My favourite is the one "xxxx Falls" (forget the name) and the ocean is below? What a beautiful capture.
I like your young son too (I think he's your son?) I'd be interested to know the software you used to make the pages turn with the photos?

Marilyn,
Thank you for taking the time to look at my galleries. Wow! You grew up in Yosemite as a child. That's amazing! I have been to most of the National Parks here in the Western U.S. and Yosemite stands out as my favorite (Yellowstone is a close second). To experience Yosemite before it became to be too commercialized and crowded must have been a unique experience.
God Bless,
Sam

Yes I did. Canon Digital Rebel camera with a Canon 28-135 IS lens with a polarizer. There was great weather during the day, but during the evening program it rained a little.
God Bless,
Sam

Pat,
Thank you for your kind comments. The software is embedded in the site. I just upload the photos and choose rotating pictures as an option.
I think you maybe referring to my nephew in the photos. I'm still single praying for a good Christian woman!
God Bless,
Sam

Beautiful, well-composed shot. I would love to visit there someday!
I love the contrast you captured! Had to be just the right time of day. Great work!
I agree... great contrast and exposure, and the composition is super. Wonderful work!

Next time I head west, this is one place I'll definitely pay a visit to.
Thanks again, Sam.
