Thank you Kathleen,
Especially coming from you. It has been a long time sense we spoke but You contacted me through smugmug once http://glory2jesus4photography.smugmug.com/ (http://glory2jesus4photography.smugmug.com/)
I see you have a new site as well, did you find some one you like better then smugmug.
Oh, hi!
You're welcome.
I do know you. You're bookmarked as my friend on Smug. :) Yes, I am on Zenfolio, now. I just never received a print from Smugmug that I would feel confident selling to my customers, except for their people images. Their software is great at people prints.
Zenfolio uses MPIX to fulfill their orders and they are far superior! Just received a 20x30 of one of my images and my hubby had it custom matted and framed with museum mount and glass, for his office, and it looks awesome! Plus, a pro technician looks at each print to make sure it's quality. I feel much better using them. I really like the design of Smug and all the work I've put into customizing my site to get it to look like it does, but in the end...I just payed for both sites for another year because the end product is most important, but I am not ready to dump Smug yet, either. The images on my Smug don't have printing enabled, but if you click on purchase from my Smug site, it now takes you to my Zen site to order.
So, that's the scoop! If you have the time and don't mind, would you please check out my new site and let me know what you think about the look and layout as compared to my Smug site? Zen doesn't allow any HTML or customizing right now. They're working on getting downloads available and comments, though.
That is beautiful. It's a calming image, very serene. Thanks for sharing it. :)
