The first snowfall is pretty, isn't i?
I like the juxtoposition of the two trees, I like the stark tracery against all that snow and mist, there's a great sense of quietude in this scene, hard to describe, wonderful to see and feel.
That's kind of rare for you folks isn't it Barbarian?

Used to be. But as things warmed up, ironically, we're getting more air in off the Gulf, and so it snows instead of just getting cold.
It's getting drier in West Texas, but in East Texas, the prevailing winds changed; we're getting a lot more precipitation now.
Lovely scene. Summicron has summed up my feelings about the picture pretty much. I do think this would look great on somebody's wall. :thumbsup:
This is beautiful. I love the hint of red in the picnic area. Peaceful.
