Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I took these photos a year or so ago, when we went for a walk to the top of the Beacon and thought you may be intrested in seeing them...Nothing special but will hopefully bring back memories for Pat. Notice the Chalk Lion that was carved out on the hill side by Whipsnade zoo.

Pat

Neil, it's wonderful to see these!

Jack and I walked that very path!!!!!!

My goodness, what memories.  The day we did it, I had a sore toe on my right foot and I was taking a long time to walk and he kept on waiting for me and then said, "Honey, if you don't hurry up, I won't make it to St. Albans to preach tomorrow"!!! (It was a Saturday and he was preaching the next day.

You are making me homesick!

These as usual are beautiful pictures!

I loved the little paths we walked while in Ireland and these photos remind of that time.

The chalk lion is great.

I just love the green in Europe.  But then, I love it in other parts of the US.

Francine, I'm really looking forward to some nice green photos of the Auld Sod!

This is so fantastic to see--especially since my hubby and I walked that path!

Now looking forward to seeing your Irish photos.

Pat, I'm anxious to add my photos from Ireland and Germany but I do have a quick question.  I know I am limited to the number of photos I can add to my album per day.  Is that the total limit of photos I can add.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not planning on flooding the site but I was just wondering.  And, do I add them to my album or just under the topic?

I do plan on reading up on info about this site but this would help a lot in how I upload photos.

Thanks much.

God has so many beautiful places on this planet.  And these photos make it obvious.

The chalk lion has been there a long time - its use is to advertise the adjacent  zoo. I went to school just over the hill (not far from the white dot that you can see on the brow on the left)!

Jack and I did the Ridge Way hike when over there and it started at this spot.  Am I correct?

Yup, the ridgeway walk starts in the region of Ivinghoe Beacon.  Not done it myself - my wife has a medical condition that requires near proximity of a "ladies" at frequent intervals !
