Title: Winter Creek.
Post by: mrlucas on January 22, 2007, 10:53:26 AM
Took a little walk this weekend after the snow fell.  I liked this scene. Tucked in a little corner on the edge of town right next to the highway.  I was actually spending more time with the big medium format camera. I almost forgot about using the D200. I ran back and grabbed a few shots.

Hey my first post round these parts... Hello!

I could see this on the front of a Christmas card!  Very nice!

I like the black and white look with the  red barn. Good eye.

Yes it was a very monochromatic day indeed.  All color photography though.  Actually the only other color I could find was the red barn and a few brown leaves here and there. Very odd indeed. The water even looked as black as it does here.

The red roof is so effective in this.  Love the composition.  Stopped my car about a week ago to get something like this down near the university in the sugar bush but I had forgotten my camera!  :(
