This is a site that Jack used to use a lot when he bought theological textbooks.

Pat
I take it that Jack was your husband?, sorry if this assumption is incorrect.
I also have benefited from Still Waters Rev. Books over the years, Jack probably also may have used these book services:

Banner of Truth

Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service

Yes, Tom, Jack was my husband.

He's definitely used Banner of Truth over the years but I don't remember if he used Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service.

You might like to read some of his short devotionals, Tom..  You can find them here...

Pat
I am very sorry to hear of your loss, but am glad to know of Jack's Gain, his entrance into the presence of the Beauty of the Lord.
I was blessed by his devotionals, and can relate to what he had written about in the "Weeping Woman". I have almost lost my wife of 26 years, more than once to Lupus and kidney failure,  and long ago, lost track of how many grueling moments she has had to endure at the hospital.
As you know all to well,  we only able to carry on by the Sustaining Grace of our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
God Bless

Tom B.

P. S. That is a wonderful picture of you and Jack.

Oh, Tom!  Is your wife on dialysis?  There were several patients down at the hospital who were dialysis patients due to lupus.

My heart goes out to you as you care for her.  God bless you richly at this time.

Thanks Pat
My wife's kidneys failed after many Chemo treatments were attempted to suppress the Lupus, but they finally failed September 1993, she did peritoneal Dialysis at home for 26 months, then the Lord provided a successful kidney transplant at UC San Francisco, But three weeks after the surgery she almost died of lung failure, but the Lord has granted us more time, we recently celebrated our 26 anniversary, thanks to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Though there is a lot more to the story, I better stop here.  We have known some tough times, but the Lord is, and has been a very gracious Father.

Thanks so much, Tom...

Jack couldn't have peritoneal dialysis as the fluid used wasn't good for those with severe heart problems so it was hemo for him.  I was his cannulator for 3 years.

Thanks so much and may the Lord richly bless both of you.
