I've really had a lot of Ups & Downs in my life. I know we all would like to stay on the mountaintop. But the truth is that we learn more through the valleys. I am still learning to cast my cares on him. The Lord led me to this verse & it has become one of my favorites. Ist Peter verse 5: verses 5B thru 7. "God Opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Humble yourselves, therefore under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your cares on him because he cares for you.
Oh, that's so true in so many situations.
It could be a family illness or it could be a major disappointment in the business field or it could be our own disobedience.
Oh, but when we're in the valleys, the only way we can look is "UP!" and it's then that we can call to our Saviour and say, "Help me!"
Thanks for this lovely reminder of a wonderful verse.
Thank you Pat. I didn't realize I had been gone from this website for over a year. The LORD has given me an opportunity to prove this verse is true. It took the docturs a long time to diagnose what was wrong with me. I just couldn't concentrate at work and was out for long periods of time. It was finally determined that I had Meniere's
disease. It's a damaged nerve close to the inner ear that cause dizziness. I retired from my job a year ago. But the LORD is good. With medication and a less stressful life, I'm making it just fine. The LORD led me to start my own Website. It's called Creation Photography by Steve. Here's the link if you want to take a look. I always need new scriptures. So, if you or any members have some, I would like to use them. The link is: Fotobirder.Smugmug.Com/.
Make the LORD continue to Bless you.

Steve, it's so nice to see your post. Thanks!
I'm sorry about the Meniere's. My husband's work mate had that and it was awful for him so I'll be praying for you at this time.
I'm going to have a look around your website, Steve.
Thanks again.
