Title: God Is Not The Author Of Confusion
Post by: Summicron on December 01, 2009, 09:30:04 PM
You know Jeannie Lea asked me, what was going to happen when they pull down the old bus station, and I whittly and unwittingly said, "Something that God is not the author of," i.e. confusion. I just happened to be doing something on the computer, when this still small voice said, "Do you know the significance of that statement, Michael?" Well look what the Apostle Paul said to the churches 1 Corinthians, that everything should be done decently and in order. God my dear brothers and sisters brought in a creation that so many of you enjoy and see the marvels of His wonderful handiwork. Do you see the significance of this?

Well in the beginning, so Genesis tells us, the world was without form an void, total chaos and confusion. Until His Spirit moved upon the face of the deep, and brought order from chaos. God wants for all His creation to enjoy His order and harmony in in everything He has made and done for you, its His perfect will. What does chaos do? Chaos only brings fear with it, a fear of the unknown and the unknowable, chaos and confusion is darkness, it is Satan's domain, and he is like a silly willful child who's only aim is to disrupt God's perfect harmony and order for our lives and creation itself. All what you see and photograph of God's wonderful world stems from this order He through His Spirit has planted within your soul. In other words God so loved the world that he wanted all of His creation to be in harmony with Himself, its the peace that the whole world is craving for, its only to be found by receiving Christ, and His Spirit that can bring order out of the chaos of your life, just as it did at the beginning of time.

Oh and when they do tear down that bus station, it will be confusion for a very long time as people will have to queue in the streets for buses, all for what, so that more un-needed chain store outlets can sell their wares.

I certainly didn't expect my question to open such a wonderful window into God's Word.  Isn't it great the way He leads us to greater understanding of His purpose?  Thank you Summicron!     <3

Neither did I, but that's God for you. thought of something else, when Adam fell he tried to cover himself with his own efforts, but God assures Adam of His eternal love by making a garment of animal skins for him. Just as Jacob made a coat for his beloved son Joseph, the first born of his beloved wife Rachel. Joseph went through some bad times, but in his fathers coat he never lost the assurance of his fathers token of love, I'll bet throughout his life, Adam clinged to that garment, of God's reassurance for him.

A coat like that, represents God's Spirit, reassurance, the comforter, as Jesus said, how do I know? Because Elijah's mantle represented the Spirit, it fluttered down from heaven to Elisha, Elisha called Elijah his father, that cloak also would be something that Elisha would cling to as reassurance of his fathers love.

Did you see how that cloak would flutter down from Elijah's hand, like a dove fluttering down. Jesus the day after being baptised in the Jordan, John the Baptist also saw the Spirit descend upon Jesus, as if a dove had descended fluttered down in blur. It was the assurance of God's special love for his son.

So much for those who believe that Elijah was taken up in a UFO, he couldn't have cast his mantle down to Elisha :coffee:
