I love the way Paul summarizes what he'd been writing to the Ephesians. In 4:29-5:2, he wrote:
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Okay, to summarize all the guidelines for Christian living he's been writing about , Paul seems to be saying, this is how you do it.
- be kind
- be compassionate
- forgive
- in other words, be like God, love like God
To find out if a stick is crooked, we should put it next to one that is straight. God's Word is that Straight Stick. How am I measuring up today, I wonder? :bible:
In His Grip,

Solid words to strive towards, Kevin.
