Matt. 4  Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5  Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Verse 4 we are told we are blessed if we mourn.  We think of ourselves being blessed if we have money in the bank and all is going well..That is only temprary blessing.  To mourn is to be broken.  God can use a broken vessel..a broken a contrite spirit God will not to deny.  God recieves Godly sorrow.. the promise is we shall be comforted.  There is nothing that can confort like the Holy Spirit.

Bless are the meek..meekness is an unasuming character in which there is an absence of pride.  Meek stresses a mildness, patience disposition which it not easily angered.  Meekness is not super sensitive, or easy hurt or offended.  A meek person is someone that everything isn't about you.  Promise you will inherit the earth.  I want to inherit heaven not this old cruel world.
But to inherit the earth with meeks means you are not overcome with the things of the world..but you are an overcomer in Christ Jesus..
