Just thinking about the health warnings you find nowadays on things like beer and cigarettes, etc, but you will not find government health warnings on products concerning Halloween, I wonder why not? I don't know about in other countries, but over the past few years Halloween costumes are becoming increasingly more darker and satanic, that you can literally feel the darkness and oppression, oozing out of the store, and to get in the shop you have to actually pass through a labyrinth of this evil to get to the other goods. So I had a go at another tract, on this subject.


You find them on everything these days; I'm talking about health and safety warnings. Smoking can kill; smoking can damage your health. The dangers of too much alcohol intake; eating healthily to prolong your life, funny though that there is no health warnings on the things concerning Halloween, and yet there should.
   "Only a bit of fun, so what harm can Halloween do me?" What harm can smoking do, in the short term, probably not, it damages your health slowly, but over the years it can and does ruin your health and kill, not only you but those around you. Likewise Halloween does kill, not the body, but the soul, Halloween is the tip of an iceberg, the name of which is called occultism.
   If you look at the shops during the month of October, there are whole sections of the stores set aside to the celebration of Halloween, but have you noticed that year by year the stuff that's on sale is becoming darker and more Satanic. To have to pass through this labyrinth of material feels oppressive, that's because it is oppressive.
   The occult, it affects every aspect of you and your children's lives, through television, through commercialism you are constantly being bombarded by the occult, sometimes in the most seemingly innocent forms.
   Satan, or the devil does exist, he was once called Lucifer, or bearer of the light, he challenged God's rightful authority, and determined to be like the most high, and for that he was cast out of heaven, and is now called, the prince of darkness, both he and his angels who fell with him, I am quoting from Isaiah Chapter 14, v12-14, "How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer son of the morning. How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations. For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most high,' yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the pit."
   Sheol, the grave or the pit is Satan's abode, a place of utter darkness, the place where all occult practises emanate from, and Halloween is no exception to the rule. Space does not permit me to elaborate on these things, but Halloween is only a tiny part of Satan's entrapment, it is a conditioning, that hell Satan, the devil, or Lucifer. Spirits of the air, witches, ghosts, ghouls are only innocent fun. They are very real, in life Halloween can be a very disturbing time for some children as well as adults, and at life's end a gateway into a pit of horrors that will be an eternal Halloween.
   No Halloween doesn't come with a health warning but it ought to do, because the consequences are not temporal but eternal, the devil doesn't' know your name, neither does he care, who you are, but he will use such entrapment and conditioning to make you just another inhabitant of His realm of darkness. THAT'S THE BAD NEWS, NOW HERE'S THE GOOD. 1 John 1: 5, "God is light and in Him is no darkness at all." John 2:25-26, "And this is the promise that He has promised us-eternal life. These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you." John 1: 12, "But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to them who believe in His name." And that name, is the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

No matter how "innocent" it may seem, walking on Satan's ground is dangerous to us and to our children.  Play acting about Satan's realm should not be considered "fun."  Interesting enough, Halloween fell on the very day of the beginning of the Reformation, the day Martin Luther nailed his theses upon the door to Wittenberg castle.  But some considered that reformation to be the work of witches and goblins. Oh let us return to that reformation, for it marked an era of freedom and truth.

A question was posed to me  last night.  It boils down to analogy's.  The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe is an analogy of the life death and resurrection of our Lord and the fight between good and evil.  Is it wrong to watch the movie...or read the book because of the witchcraft in it.

No Judy, I wouldn't think so, I read the whole set many years ago, you might say is it wrong to read the Bible because it contains so much about good and evil, and witchcraft. Mind you, as an anology of the Scriptures, I don't think its helpful in any way, as an introduction to Christianity. What I'm trying to say, that the promotion of Halloween, is such big buisness, that it is being exploited for all its worth, and each year the imagery gets worse.

But what's worse, is the fact that it is only the visible tip of a huge iceberg of, new age culture, childrens TV that exposes children to the occult, new age culture, witchcraft, and even Satanism. The idea of duelism, God being light and dark, having two personalities, Lucifer and Adonai, all these things are being cloaked in a wrapping of innocence and cuteness, without the public being aware of what's being presented to them, its called conditioning, so children grow up without the slightest inclination that they are walking into a trap, and if Halloween can be presented as beink just a bit of harmless fun, then it can open up their curiosity into delving deeper into the occult. "Ooooh magic, that sounds fun, casting spells, if only." What that does is present a fascinating alternative to God based religion. What Christians should be saying is, "Whoa! Wait on a moment, there is an alternative to all this darkness, and it is in Jesus Christ, I can't force you to accept what's on offer but please take some time out to look at the alternatives. Is the celebration of the prince of darkness, so good after all, or are you just buying into what is being promoted."

I remember George Bush going on about weapons of mass destruction, but he didn't talk about tobacco. How many lives are lost every year from tobacco, ten Hiroshima's a year I think, if all those people died in one place and at about the same time, people would begin to ask what is going on, and yet there are government health warnings on tobaco. Who is going to warn people about the occult, and the access points into the occult, not the governments, so it has to be Christians. The people on the doors are making huge profits out of the sideshow, they don't want to loose their profits.

We can't stop the world, and its self destructiveness, but we can as Christians present an alternative and a better way to people, and at the least say, "Well give it a thought." A passage from Acts 19: 18-20, "And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. Also many of those who had practised magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

Yes, I think C.S. Lewis' tale is a different issue.  Witchcraft is not presented in a positive light - as though is was "good."  So I would agree with Michael.
