Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Tears Have A Voice!

There is an old Gospel song that I love, but seldom hear anymore, called, "Tears are a Language, that God Understands".
Actually, I could probably stop writing right now, because that title pretty much sums up what I think God wants us believers, and perhaps some particular person reading this to realize.

Sometimes we are so grieved over a loss in our life, discouraged about circumstances beyond our control, or disappointed with the way things are heading in our own or loved ones lives, that we fall on our knees before God with no strong, faith-filled prayers believing for victory, but instead, only tears' silent voice.

If you are experiencing this, take courage brother or sister! You are in good Company! The One who is called "A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief" (Isa.53:3), is "touched with the feeling of our infirmities" (Heb.4:15) and "is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Ps.34:18).

Your tears have a very powerful voice! David declared that the Lord had heard the voice of his weeping (Ps.6:8 ), and even seems to imply that our tears are so precious to God that He keeps/stores them in a bottle in heaven (Ps.56:8 ). God sees and hears our heart's cry (1 Sam.16:7) even when we are too distraught to verbalize it!

The Bible says that, from God's perspective, blood also has a voice (Gen.4:10; Heb.12:24). Jesus said that even stones would speak if necessary (Lk.19:40), and the Lord opened the mouth of a donkey to verbalize a rebuke to Balaam (Num.22:28), but I think our tears possess the most persuasive, "non-conventional" voice of all, with God. Jerome wrote, "Prayer inclines God to show mercy; tears compel Him."

The next time you go to sleep weary from crying over some seemingly insurmountable problem, rest your soul on His faithful promise, "weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning" (Ps.30:5).

"The law cannot condemn a believer, for Christ hath fulfilled it for him; divine justice cannot condemn him, for that Christ hath satisfied; his sins cannot condemn him, for they in the blood of Christ are pardoned." - Thomas Brooks
