Title: Snickerdoodles

Here is a Christmas Cookie Recipe that a friend just passed along to me & they look really good !!

Snickerdoodles

Mix ½ c soft shortening
¾ c sugar
1 egg

Add 1 1/3 c flour
1 t cream or tartar
½ t baking soda
1/8 t salt

Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in mixture of 1 T sugar and 1 t cinnamon. Place 2” apart on sheet. Bake until lightly browned but still soft. Bake at 400 for 8-10 min. Makes 2 ½ dozen.

I simply LOVE snickerdoodles.  A friend of mine from Ohio always has snickerdoodles in the house.  Wow!  Just delicious.

I was looking to try something a bit different this year, and this looks like it might fit the bill!

TBear ~ I took it upon myself to put the Title of your recipe down in the text area....reason being is so when people copy and paste, the title is with the recipe.

When I was working, we had Pig Out Week, the week before Christmas when people brought in finger foods for us to have all day long.  One lady always brought her Snickerdoodles and they were certainly a treat.  I didn't realize how simple they were to make.  Another Christmas treat!

Mmmmmm I LOVE Snickerdoodles, too!!!  They're fun to make, too ... and smell wonderful while baking! Mmmmmmm    :P
