Seek and Ye shall find, Eh? Heck I had to search out where to write something about oneself. So hi everyone, my real name is Michael Vaughan, same name but I'm not Englands cricket captain, I live in Darwen a little milltown in the Northwest of England, I came to know Christ in 1979, He found me actually, in a graveyard, things were bad, but God slowly got me through the troubles, took a long time, a very long time, I still struggle with the concept of God being a Father to me, someone I can talk to, and someone I can ask things of. I have arthritis, am diabetic, both feet and my right hand are numb, I struggle trying to press the shutter button on the camera. Its difficult, but I still enjoy photography.
I've no picture of myself at the moment I must do something about that.
I've just started doing a bit about myself, its got a lot of corridors has this website, and I keep getting to the wrong places, so give us a bit of time and I'll get round to you all. Heck! God has done a lot with my life and I haven't realised it, so check out tonights batch of photo stories,
Sorry but I've no family, never had much of a family to start with, I lost my mum to anthrax when I was eight, she was a hospital matron, and contracted it off a patient, I think mum must have prayed for me, because she used to drag me off to church on Sunday morning, and Sunday school too.
You know how naive kids are at the age of six? Well one Sunday morning at church the vicar asked a question, "Who is the first person in church on a Sunday morning?' the devil, because he wants to be there to distract your minds from the things of God, and take away the good seed." Well that morning I looked all over the church and I couldn't see him.
By the way the number of the road running through Darwen, is the A666, and I think the A also stands for Antichrist, I believe you Americans got your interstate 666 changed.
I write my own gospel tracts too, if you've got a computer and you have something to say, you can write your own tracts.
This group is a lot like the the Anglo American Circuit I used to be the British secretary of, except we were restricted to two slides per round, plus comment sheets, personal letters, and cassette tape.
Summicron Come on over to the houghts for the Week forum where we meet each week actually every day and tell us all about yourself, family, pets etc..
I am Marilyn I live in Northern California about a mile from the Pacific Ocean. Lots of photo ops around here, however, I am very much the amatuer. I have two wonderful doggie companions that share my life.
