Christian Photographers Community

Hello,

            My name is Christopher Greene which most of you know. Recently God has been putting on my heart to go out into the missions field and help those in need. I have been feeling this for some time and I have had a passion for helping others for years now, but was not quite sure how to do so and which direction God wanted me to go. Then a Good friend of mine came home from a missions trip through an organization called YWAM (youth with a mission), and he told us all the experiences, trials, and people he had met and were able to help. He then mentioned that there was also a photography based missions field group through YWAM that he had met, and right then I knew God was pushing me to go. God has given me a passion for art my whole life, and I desperately want to use my art for God's glory but I feel like I have not had a chance to do that until now. Everyday I wake up and praise God, and yes some days are harder than others, but I still felt like God has more for me. He wants me out there, out in the world. Even though I am doing art at my local community college I feel God pulling me to use my art for a greater purpose and start my own ministry threw photography.
            This photography discipleship training is a six month missions trip in Herrnhunt Germany . For the first three months I will be in classes learning all I need to know for when I go out in to the field. Then the last three months will be all field work. I will learn all about lighting, exposure, black and white photo developing, basics of Photoshop and digital photography. In the past Ywam has sent teens to Africa and underdeveloped countries, where they would Go into garbage cities and villages and just love on people they would help them where they needed help and just tell others about God's love and all he has for them. The last group I heard went was a music based one that went to a garbage city in Ethiopia and was able to help educate and free children from that were working in dumps, and also played worship music in Muslim towns. 
But there is more to this letter, im not only writing this letter to inform but also maybe ask, for a little bit of help. The schooling for the first three months cost 6,000 dollars and the airplane ticket costs another thousand. SO in all its going to cost me 7,000 dollars then there is also the price of the equipment,  all I can really ask for is prayer support that I will do all that God is calling me to do, And I touch the heart of those God puts in my path. So keep me in your prayers and in your heart any financial help would be much appreciated also. If you do find that you are financially capable of donating some money, there is some good news. It turns out by helping to support kids who go to YWAM any money you donate you can write a tax deductible donation make all contributions to Chris's missions trip through Lifesong Christian Fellowship.

Let me write a little about myself sorry this was my support letter to my church...
my churches name is lifesong christian fellowship a small house church with about 30 members out of mooresville Indiana. Im 21 and am attending Ivytech to get my photography degree. But i feel i have been called to more. Lately i have been feeling a need to get out, i mean i have this gift and God is just pushing on my heart that i need to do more. I know he has given this to me for a reason and he wants me to use it to glorify him. please if anything just pray for me thats all i cna really ask i have faith God will take care of the rest.
