Hello! I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. This looks like a wonderful site - I look forward to participating!

I'm a freelance writer and photographer living in Alabama with my hubby, spoiled dog, and "boomerang" son (we have an empty-nest until Tuesday, when son comes home again for awhile.)

I host a blog called Pix-N-Pens where we have weekly photo and writing contests - with weekly prizes, too! Come on over and join us! Each Monday, I post a new theme and you can submit your entry during the week. Then, I open up voting to all blog visitors over the weekend, and the winner is announced the following Monday. All the weekly winners are entered in the drawing for the Grand Prize offered in December.
