A big :welcome: from me as well, Buddywoods!
Great to have you here.
Hi, thanks for the welcome! I'm Buddy and live in St. Charles, MO. I'm a Christian and was saved at an early age and I attend Church here in St. Charles.
The last few years I have been really getting into photography as far as taking pictures. I worked for Qualex for 14 years. Qualex is owned by Kodak. Qualex was the worlds largest photofinisher, might still be. Our plant was shut down in February of 2003 due to lack of film volume. I was the quality control lead for ten years. I know a lot about film/paper processing, color theory, optimizing printers/minilabs. Of course one of the main reasons our plant was shut down was due to digital cameras. I didn't shoot pictures much with film cameras because I didn't want the expense of buying film. Now that digital cameras are out and I don't have to buy film or process the film I had to buy a digital camera.
I can't wait to see your photos.
Join us in Thoughts for the Week, with a coffee and join in the coversation.
Digital is the way to go now and it doesn't have the cost in developing that film did. The cost of the digital cameras is becoming reasonable as well.
Have a great day and God bless.
