Hi there crpoppy7...
We are very proud of how friendly the gang here is and are glad you've joined us. There is every level of knowledge here so feel free to jump into the forum and set up your album too in the Gallery no matter if you have just gotten your first camera today or have been a professional since the time of large format cameras.
If you need help, the Shoutbox works well, and is a great way to pass the time too. :)
Make yourself at home and enjoy sharing this wonderful art form here at

Hi, My name is Craig.I'm a grandfather of 7.I raised my 3 children by myself and now I am raising a grandson by myself also,I've always liked taking photo's,but I was always to busy.I've work in a nursing home for the mentaly ill for 22 years,It's sometimes a sad and very negative place to work,But my daily Bible study always gets me through the day.I have gotten back into photography again and even went back to school for it.Got myself some tools of the tade and I am going to try my hand at some part time pro photography,(potrait)and family photography.I found this website, looking for ways to use photography to see GODS Love and beauty in a Christain way,as I have seen to much hurt and negative in my life.My grandson Chad and I both Love the LORD with all are heart. We live in Port Orange Florida.
Welcome Craig. We are so happy to have you here. Please come over to the Thoughts for the Week forum and get to know our daily routines and the rest of the gang.

Hey there, Craig! Good to see you here.
I live a couple hundred miles north of Al and Marilyn -- on the beautiful coast of southern Oregon!
It looks like it's "let's all tell our age time" so I'll say that in less than a month I will have completed 73 years on this earth. I had 3 girls and they have produced 8 grandkids and 12 great grandkids for me! The family is growing!! ::)
I would like to echo Al and Marilyn's invitation to c'mon over to Thoughts For The Week and get acquainted with the rest of the gang.
Welcome, Craig, to Christian Photographers! It sounds as if you would have a lot of interesting stories to tell. I'm happy that you are getting more into photography, since you enjoy it so much. And this is a great place to share it. I'm in SW Kansas, and will be expecting to hear more from you as time passes.
