The Shell tramcar made up as a hovercraft at night. Does anybody remember the old General Analine Film Corporation, GAF, Anscochrome film, especially its 500 ASA version, grain like marbles, but great for those hand held night shots, as this was 1/30 sec at F2 in this case. The film came in bright red packets, and looked exciting even before you opened it. Made in the USA.

I like how you composed this shot, it's a great angle. why is the train lit up like that? must be fun watching it pass by.

In Blackpool, Lancashire at this time of year they have the illuminations, there are three miles of lights along the shore, with lots of different themes, and one of the attractions are the trams, that run right the way through them, and some of these trams are lit up to as various things, this is a hovercraft, there is a rocket and a paddle steamer, exc. Go to youtube and type in Blackpool illuminations, you'll see what I mean. Try car journey through Blackpool illuminations 2007, the definition of the vid's a bit ropey, but it will give you an impression of what its like. There's two vids of Blackpool trams, one ten secs, and one seventeen secs.
