Even birds know how to celebrate Christmas! It was morning before sunrise when I took this shot.
I used a pocket LED flashlight to beam on to the bird house that is hanging under the plum tree.
The narrow light projection was just enough to illuminate the subject, thus maintaining the darker surrounding areas and the colors of the Christmas lights in the background.
