What an immense plant. Is that anywhere near you? You both have given great perspective on what it is like!
Well done!
The toll road people are building a huge new toll road, and this is apparently where the concrete is being mixed. It's pretty busy most of the time.
We did this together, but neither of us paid much attention to what the other was doing. Mrs. Barbarian was intrigued by the complexity of beams and steelwork, and I was looking at the site as a whole. She's been using her telephoto a lot, and I've been keeping the wide angle on my camera.
As in a true partnership you complement each other! Well done.
Our roads here in the north are made of stone, boulder sized, crushed stone sand then asphalt. Many swamps are have huge concrete culverts then around them the boulders fill the ends, then the crushed stone, and sand. I will see about pics next week.
Good details.
