Mrs. Barbarian was in a slightly different location.

I missed them this year.....till today! Thank you Barbarian! They are a wonderful composition, wondering how many you took, to get these 2 beauties.
Great shots - both of them!
I set the ISO as low as it goes, put the aperture at about f8, and then shoot 2-6 seconds, and hope for the best. And yes, shoot constantly, to get as many images as possible.
I walked back to Mrs. Barbarian, and told her how I had figured out the exposure. She said "Oh, I just set mine to fireworks mode."
And she did just as well as I did. :-X
LOL She is one smart lady! I don't have a fireworks mode! Great pictures. Can we see some of Mrs.B's as well!
My camera does have a fireworks mode, as did the one that got broken. I took a lot of fireworks photos three years ago, but those days are over I guess. No driving after dark any more. :'(
That's too bad Jeanne!
The second shot is by Mrs. Barbarian. As you see, her little Olympus DSLR is pretty good. And she's got pretty good at using it. Here's another of hers:

Wonderful!
