I wasn't positioned right for the fireworks display this year, but I'll do better next year.   Here's one which is over several shots with a black card between.

Nice catch, B.  I shot them for the first time this year.  Nothing spectacular, just neighborhood stuff.  But, I know how to do it now.

Thanks so much.  The HS-10 is a fantastic camera, B.  It makes me look like I know what I'm doing.  It's met and conquered every challenge I've thrown at it.

I'm liking it. They did a nice job of separating the flares, and you did a great job of capturing them. How did you get those wavy ones in the distance?

No, it was on a tripod.   Several blasts on one exposure, with one set zoomed out.

Between explosions.  Otherwise you get a weird effect.  Sometimes that works too, but I didn't to that.
