Title: Kids with Cancer at Christmas
Post by: Summicron on December 24, 2007, 05:16:25 AM
Hi everyone, this picture has a slight amount of camera shake despite the tripod I was using. I spotted this house from a bus travelling towards Clitheroe, and promised myself that one afternoon I would stop off and photograph it, which I did, but with my hand still being numb (sorry Pat I really thout a miracle had occured), I just couldn't be bothered with a cable release, hence the downward movement.
However after taking some shots, I noticed a sign outside the house, supporting Derian house, which is a local hospice for terminally ill kids, so I gave a contribution, and that if any of the shots were OK they could use the pictures for fundraising, I hope I find some sharper than this.
The house was lit up better than Blackpool Illuminations, and then I thought, "I wonder if all the donations people will give, will actually cover the cost of the electricity used," either way it was worth giving just to see this spectacular.
Incidentally, I sent two films away for processing one two and a half weeks ago, to Switzerland, they went over to Dwayne's photo in the US, and the other film, I sent to Guernsey, just over a week ago, it was tight, but both came back this morning, Christmas eve, I really wanted to share this with you before Christmas day, Christ bless each and every one of you,
So have a happy Christmas, Michael.
