Very good. It's got lots of depth which makes it quite a dramatic scene.
I don't know the "technical" aspects of what makes this a good photo, but I like the reflection of the lights on the water.

Nice indeed! Someday a want to do a grand night shot with water, bridge and buildings. Only I'm not sure if I would be comfortable with the idea being out like that at night ::), :-\... :)
When I started shooting, I'd go downtown at night, using an old Argus C3 "brick". On the monopod, it made a formidable weapon, with sharp metal corners. And it was sturdy enough that it could take out a mugger, and then take his picture as he lay on the ground.
That's why they are so cheap; they never really break, and even I can take one apart and fix it.

You got me laughinf hav ing the camera as a protector....
I love the film style of shooting...I try to simulate with a plugin-I know its not the same as real film, but don't think I can afford to buy film, have develop, so it would be a novelty sort of thing to do..
That's a pretty cool looking camera, though! I purchased an Argus 40 for 10 bucks at the local flea market-got to try it once anyways... :) ;)

Get old 120 rollfilm cameras. The larger format means that even an indifferent lens gives you pretty good results. And lots of places sell and process 120.

Half-frame, 72 exposures per roll. And remarkably reliable and usable. The shutter is actually more accurate than that of contemporary Leicas and Contaxes.

Hey, Barbarian! When did you take a picture of my Argus C3? :D
You have a C3? Take it out and get some shots. Use 400 film, set the aperture (the little dial on the front of the lens that has two little posts sticking out) to about 11, and set eh shutter speed to about 400.
Then, in sunlight, you'll get pretty good results. If it's cloudy, open the aperture to about 8.
It's fun using the old ones.
I used to get some pretty good pictures with that old C3. Back then I had pretty well figured out about f-stops and shutter speeds and ISO settings. But now I"m spoiled and depend on the digital P&S to figure it all out for me and I've forgotten most of it. If I did decide to have another run at the C3 I don't know where I'd get the film developed now.
