Title: Moon over Maui
Post by: goldenstarphoto on December 19, 2011, 10:50:34 PM
This is a 15 second exposure when I couldn't sleep at 2 a.m.  I used the balcony of our condo as a stabilizer.
Thanks for looking.

Absolutely beautiful!  Maybe that's what I should do on the nights I can't sleep.  Problem is, the pictures could only be of a neighbor's house.   :D

Wow what peace.  Can you just imagine if that beautiful picture brings peace to someone, just how much Heaven's peace will bring.

What does that song say, "There peace like a river that attendeth my way, when sorrow the sea billows roll.   But ..." Oh I can't think of the rest I'll have to look it up and get the guitar out now.

Thank you for sharing so beautiful...Marlo

Thank you all for the nice comments!  And Jeanne, I think the neighbors may complain if they see you taking pictures of their house in the middle of the night..... :ticked:

You're probably right about the neighbors complaining - or at least getting suspicious.  Of course at this time of year I could claim to be taking pictures of their Christmas decorations.   :D

That is a lovely shot.   I hope you don't mind, but I did a little adjustment that opens up some of the details in your shot...

Now how did you get that tree in there?  It is a beautiful picture.  Frankly both are!

It was always there.   I just opened it up a little so you can see the hidden beauty in that shot.

Love it, Nice shot!

I only sleep a few hours some nights but if I had a balcony with a view like that I think I would give up sleeping altogether or do it in the daytime. :)
