Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

WOW!!!

You must have been in the right place at the right time.  Did you zoom in?

Really nice shot.

Kassie just pointed out the the white dot below the moon.  Is it a star?  If so, is it mars?

Pat

Neil, that's lovely.

My late husband was so very interested in astronomy and he would love to have seen your photo.

Last night we had an orange moon here.

At the risk of "mooning" over it, I too think this is a great shot.  It's interesting that on the left-hand edge of the moon you can plainly see the high and low points silhouetted against the sky.  Great!

Yes, it's a great shot, obviously cropped a great deal, but with the detail holding very well.

Many people think the perfect time to take a shot is during a full moon, but actually you want a bit of shadow; the side lighting really shows up the mountains and details, as it does in this shot.
