Title: NYC sunrise
Post by: jazz2ya on March 15, 2014, 12:24:24 AM
NYC never looked so beautiful!   Taken from Jersey City.

Psalm 113:3   From sunrise to sunset the Lord's name is to be praised!

Beautiful, Jazz.  (IMO, that's how NYC looks best - from a distance  :D )

I'm with Jeanne on this one. I like NYC the same way I like my snow, in photos!

I think you all should visit New York!  I would give you a personal tour!   :)

Jazz, thanks for the invitation, but I think I'll just decline.  I lived 38 years in northern New Jersey (just over the Goethals Bridge) and that was close enough for me.  I like more open space and fewer people.   ;D

Beautiful! I love sun rises and sun sets a visible show of God's handiwork.  :)

Thanks for the invite jazz2ya but I really feel out of place on the streets. I'm more at home drifting the river through the swamp. If I should decide to come I would definitely give you a shout. Nothing like being with someone that knows where they are if you are in new territory.

I've been there a few times, and I love it.   Aside from the few people who seem to hate their jobs, almost everyone I met was kind and helpful.

I went there right after high school, was with two other guys who knew nothing about the city, either.   On a bus, a woman overheard us trying to figure out how to get somewhere, and stayed on the bus several stops past her stop, just to make sure we got where we wanted to go.

I'll never forget that kindness.

Maybe it has changed since then?  I would love to see NYC!
