Well we haven't got great scenery and mind blowing landscapes were we are, but we do have chip shops, and when I got back from Preston this afternoon, I decided to get a shot of The Cod Father chip shop as I came out of Lidl's, glad there was somebody propping the counter up, I can't offer you amazing scenery, only slices of life. I found an even better named chip shop on the way to Preston this afternoon, called Cod's gift. Oh, I had to take pot shots at this as I had no means of resting the camera anywhere, I was just thankful to get this.

That fellow leaning on the counter looks as though he enjoys his fish and chips - and then some. :D
Did I tell you the one about Hollands pies? Three Baxenden (Wer't pies are med, close by Accrington, no stray cats or dogs round there) lads went to the Netherlands on a trip, and a Dutchman came up to them and asked each one of them why they were visiting his country, the first one mentioned the tulip fields the wonderful dutch costumes, and the windmills, the other one agreed, and added the canals and the red light district in Amsterdam. The third one said, "A'v come to complain about thi pies."

Chif and Fips..... Wow what memories!
