This is the original shot of that lovely sunset across the lake, its that lake between Windermere, and Conniston water, can't remember the name of it, I think its one of the most charming stretches of water in the lakes.
I like that photo. I love pictures of swans-thanks for sharing :)
See if I can find you some more then, think I have one or two, Oooh, the films not finished yet but I went to visit a place I've never seen for at least forty years, kinda takes you back though. The place is called Pennington Flash, a flash is flooded mine workings and thousands of mine shafts just caved in early in the twentieth century, the land subsided, and formed a lake a mile long and about a half mile wide, its ever so pretty, its wooded all the way round, on land that was once spoil heaps, mine tailings, and its a nature reserve, with wetlands and marsh, a sailing club. A place made by man, and created by God, its both man made, in that he delved for coal, and God created, because He caused the pits to cave in and the land to fill with water. Swans Melody, dozens of them, and I've got the pictures on film, so you'll just have to wait a little longer, but I will post them.
