Perhaps the architecture forum would have been a more appropriate spot to drop this shot. Yes waiting again this time for a train. There was an old rickety footbridge on Manchester Victoria station I used to clamber up on to get shots of the towers of central Manchester, especially with the spires and cupolas of Manchester cathedral, set against the more modern buildings that have sprung up around it.
Manchester cathedral, famous, because it was in these so called hallowed walls that the Russian revolution took shape, Karl Marx, wrote his communist manifesto here.

Contrasts, oh yes!!! Not only several kinds of architecture, but contrast in lighting, too.
