My younger daughter's dog, Adidas, who came to stay with us this summer. She's a Jack Russel/Rat Terrier mix, and very hyper. Our dog, Bagel, is a rescued basset/beagle mix, and very laid back. If relaxation was a martial art, Bagel would have a black belt.
Last week, when Adidas went home, she had calmed down noticeably, and Bagel had lost a few pounds she probably didn't need. Good for both of them. Ginger was very pleased with the new Adidas.
Amazing how they can "train" each other. Geordie goes to a friends when I'm away and it's amazing how much he barks when he comes home but her dogs are barking all the time. Doesn't take long though for Geordie to stop.
