That face is full of love, and the focus is where it should be right on the eye, good complimentary background.
The focus on this is perfect. And I love the dark tones in the second one.

I just love your focus on the eyes in these photos! I love the coloring in the first one and I agree that the "darkness" of the 2nd one is great as well!
