Pepe
Departed this earth on Good Friday aged eighteen.
A more loyal faithful friend I will never find rest in peace my friend you leave me heartbroken.
I am calling you for supper but you are not there. Time for you to be carried up the stairs for bed but you are not there.
I plant my greenhouse seeds but you are not alongside me, digging up the old compost, or chasing the pigeons.
There is a part of my heart that will always hold your love that you gave to me for eighteen years.
RIP Pepe my kind loyal faithful friend my home is now empty without you. I am heartbroken!!!

Ohhhh I am so sorry. A number of us here have lost our beloved pets. It hurts to the depth of our being. You will get through this...it will be hard, you won't forget but you will get through it. I am praying for you.
I am praying that you find comfort in all the loving memories of Pepe.
I lost a beautiful Saint Bernard in 1996 and still treasure the memory of my "lap dog"
As JudyB said, you will never forget!
I'm very sorry, Alan. I know how much you loved this beloved friend.
My sympathy to you at this time.
I am so sorry, my friend. We who've lost pets understand your loss.

I echo this sentiment as one of those who have lost a beloved companion.
I am so sorry Alan, I remember you talking about your long walks with Pepe. Pepe has now gone to rainbow bridge to wait for you. She is playing with all our beloved pets who have gone before us.

Alan this is something that Nita shared on another website that has helped many people since she first posted it.
""Right to the end, you were doing what was best for her. You said "I didn't go places she couldn't go." That brought my tears again, because you have let her go where you cannot go now. And you did it for her, you did it because your love kept giving the first and best to her. Her pain is gone. You've been hearing her say what she wanted for some time now. I can just hear her saying, "Thank you, dad. I'll see you later....and I love you too.
:) Alan. I am so sorry that you have lost your buddy that did so much with you. It will be hard for a while but the Lord will get you through this. I know that all here at C.P. will be praying for you. God Bless. Gord.
