Oh Chris I love Beach huts. We had one at Sutton on Sea, years ago when we stayed at Chapel St. Leonards in a Caravan. Oh what fun!!! Those were the days of the Pierot Shows on the Pier at "Skeggie". I remember those too., also no jokes please but I love Cleethorpes as I lived in Keelby Nr. Grimsby when I was young and Clee. was a favourite visit...cinema and milk bar, big wheel etc., Fun, fun, fun!...I was young once!!! ;)
Judy B. This is the English Grimsby.
Thanks for the memory.
Jenny :D
Thankyou Jenny for the insight. I had no idea wht the buildings were!.
Grimsby England is nothing like our Grimsby. Ours is in what we call Fruitland. There are geographical reasons for this, but let it suffice to say that we get the majority of our strawberries, peaches, apricots, plumbs and other of the soft fleshed fruits from Fruitland. It is a wonderful resource for our freezers and pantries!
Chris a very interesting photo indeed.
