From the flower show some lovely Orchids.

Very Nice, a good DOF from the foliage in the background. As the scripture indicates, it reminds us to give thanks for all things great and small.

Yes, we probably take too much for granted, then when our world is shaken, we wonder why,  maybe it is because we don't stop to appreciate all we receive from our Great Provider.

Those are such pretty flowers.  I started to ask what they were, then read the title of the thread.  Boy do I feel silly.

Very nice work.  I like the contrasting colors you have used.

Yes, the problem with flower shows, is that they are inside a large tent, and the light is low, and flash can be a killer, so you need to lean against a pole or such, and set the two second setting on the self-timer so as not to get a shake by depressing the shutter!
