The imp in me suggests the bird is dpressed 'cos his beak got bent. ;)

I love photos of birds. This one reminds of the birds that populate our front yard. We call them Digger Birds. And Keith, they are probably more than happy with that curved beak as it lets them dig away in our yard ... of course, they leave holes but aren't as bad as the smaller mammals that might burrow. Then again, it takes a lot to dig in the Arizona dirt.
