Posting for Chris...
Why do we worry so about being provided for?
Yes we are all human, with our weaknesses and failings, and I have had many times of despair too.
But I find myself turning more and more to scripture in times of trouble. Rather than worrying about the problem I take it right away to my loving Father and try and leave it there.
Yes, I do sometimes take it back again!
But when I realise that I'm doing so I run right back to Him with it, and find a verse that comforts me, and which fits the situation at hand.
Psalm 37 v 25 is a good one for times of hardship, and we should hold on to these very real and precious promises. Amen??
Let's have some scripture promises that have brought light to you. [/size]

Chris, this means a lot to me right now. The baskets really make this "lesson" concrete.
Karmat, yes I understand, but He WILL provide, in His time, you just continue in prayer and praise, all will be well, and He does all things well,
regards Chris.
Chris and Marg... just beautiful!
Thanks. This is inspiring for me.
There is always enough with Jesus and to spare.
Sometimes it comes suddenly out of the blue, just when the need is greatest....like the little boy bringing the loaves and fishes. The Lord had gone ahead He knew there would be a need. Why do we worry. Even the hairs on our heads are numbered.
Wonderful!
Jenny.
