This image was made from one of my photographs. I get a weekly newsletter from about.com on graphics. The last one I got had a tutorial for The GIMP, a free open source program that works like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. The tutorial is called "Create a 3D Photo Effect with the GIMP". It is found at http://desktoppub.about.com/od/creategraphics/ss/gimp3d.htm?p=1 (http://desktoppub.about.com/od/creategraphics/ss/gimp3d.htm?p=1)
This is a really cool tutorial to follow and not that hard. If you are familiar with photoshop then you can follow the directions using that program. I hope you enjoy playing with the effect as much as I have.
Have a God filled and blessed day!

Jeanine, this is really neat. I came across a tut on that just the other day, using Photoshop, but tried it in Paintshop Pro. It's a fun lesson, and as you said, not too hard.
You did a great job with this. Nita
Hi Nita,
Thank You. I also tried this tut but used Photoshop and it was fun as well.
