Italian Sausage Soup
1 package ground sweet sausage (pork) sometimes I have to buy the actual sausages and cut the skins off.
1 can French style green beans
1 can golden or white hominy (substitute pasta if you would like)
1 small onion (diced)
1 jar Ragu chunky style spaghetti sauce
A couple tablespoons of worcestershire sauce
A handful of brown sugar
2-3 cups beef broth (depending on how thick you like your soup)
Brown the sausage and drain the fat, then stir everything into a soup pot, let it simmer on low about a half an hour. It's nice, simple, and easy.
Sounds delicious!!!! Will have to try this one.
Anything with Italian sausage sounds good to me.
Bob - Whats hominy?
and, if I used pasta...should I cook it first?
