Title: Turkey Burgers with Sage and Onion

Turkey Burgers with Sage and Onion

Prep time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes

1 pound ground turkey
1 small yellow onion, grated drained and
  squeezed dry
1 tbls minced fresh sage or
1 teaspoon ground sage
1/2 cup soft whole-wheat bread crumbs (1slice)
1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper

Preheat the broiler, setting the rack 6 inches from the heat. In a medium size bowl, combine the turkey,onion, sage, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. With moistened hands form the mixture into 4 patties.

Place the patties on a lightly greased broiler pan and broil for 5 minutes. Turn the patties over and broil 5 minutes more or  until the juices run clear when a patty is pricked with a fork

Serves 4

I don't have Turkey burger but I have Ham burger... ;)...this sounds like a mini-meatloaf.  Hmmmm!  Jerry would like this, too!
