I so agree with what Jane just said.  Maybe this trip will be some of the times and experiences Jane mentioned, that will "educate" Beth.  She needs to know for herself what she can and can't do.  She seems to believe she can do this.  She knows her body more than anyone else, I guess.  At least she isn't afraid to get away from her support, being mom, and go for it.

Janet, I'm still praying.  I pray, with the others, that while she's gone, you can get some rest.

Janet, my prayers for Beth, John, you, Darryl, Diane, and all those who love Beth. Yes, this is a most difficult time. But, I'll be praying that He, in His infinite love and wisdom, will guide her as she goes and direct the hearts, minds, and hands of those who give her assistance.

And, yes, this may be the time you need to draw strength for yourself. You may be able to rest your arms and weary body, and trust God to do the best with and for Beth.

Janet I too am continuing to pray for you, beth and darrell. I dopray that you will get some rest. So when will beth be making this trip to New York?  I love you dear.

I say AMEN to Ruth Ann's prayer.  It is so comforting to know that our Father has everything in His hands.  Just rest in that promise.

Janet:  Ditto to everything Jane wrote.  This would be a good time for you to get proper rest and time alone with Darrell.  Everyone in here has been praying for you and the entire family.

Amen is being said to all the prayers being brought to our Father in Heaven on Beth and her loved one's behalf.  God Bless All of You.

Again I say Thank You for all the sweet prayers for us.  I am hoping that my arm will heal up during that time, too.  Each time I have a few pain free hours, I have to do something that causes it to hurt again.

I agree this will be a good respite time for Darrel and me, and also think that it will give Beth and John a clear idea of what their lives together will be if they go ahead and marry.  This is still "in the works" and if it is possible, I would be so happy for Beth, as everyone needs someone special in their lives who will love them as they are.  Jesus does, of course, but we still long for flesh and blood arms to hold us, and a person in the flesh to talk to us and share our dreams.

Her ticket is from August 17 to October 5, so that will be a good test of the strength of the relationship!

I understand, Janet ... and I (think I) know your heart.  I pray God's blessing upon all of you ... most especially on Beth and John's plans.  He is totally in control ... we just need to surrender to His will and allow Him to work everything out for His glory and for our good.

I posted in New Every Morning but thought I should post here as well. This is Beth's Friend John, she arrived here safely and is doing well. We went to the Albany yesterday , the State Capitol to the State Museum there. She said she enjoyed it.we will probably play today by ear since we have no plans.She may even be a bit tired anyway but she's a trooper.

Thanks so much for your report, John.  We appreciate hearing how you two are doing!  I pray you both stay well and have a wonderful time doing "stuff" (whatever you decide to do!) together.  God bless.

How wonderful that Beth is there with you, John, and can enjoy spending time together.  Thanks for the update.  As you know, she is a special girl.
