Carol works in the produce department at our local IGA.   Some time ago it was revealed to her that she had a tumor buried deep in the brain. The doctors had been working to make it smaller but now it appears that it has not worked. Carol was told by the Dr. that if at any time she lost feeling in her face and neck area that she was to report to the hospital ASAP which was 3 days ago -  she is confident that everything will be OK but  is so very afraid,  perhaps it will be as early as today or tomorrow when she does go to the hospital - her words I do not know why I have not gone yet.  She has a family and her brother is arriving today from Sudbury to be with her.

I told her about this site and she wants that we do remember her in our prays.

Ruth, sorry to hear that your friend is delaying in seeking attention.  That doesn't sounds like sometime to be casual about.  I will remember her in my prayers.

I have prayed for your friend, Ruth.  Hope that she is now in the hospital and receiving medical care.

No Carol is not in the hospital yet. She has family with her this week-end and will be seeing the specialist on Wednesday and her prayer is that the Doctor will tell her that she must be admitted now.  She is not wanting to make the decision herself.

I pray, Father, that You'll give the Dr. great insight and wisdom.  I pray that  solutions will be found and used, and that You'll bless them.

Carol will be having surgery but as of now a date has not been set but according to her it will be sooner than had been planned.
