Title: Daughter
Post by: Al Moak on January 30, 2006, 09:48:03 AM
Please urgently pray for our daughter Faith, up in Seattle.  She has with her Joie, her daughter, who is 12.  She needs to become employed - quickly.  For this, she needs to be willing to become employed at jobs the Lord might bring her, without balking at things she'd "rather" not do.  Pray that she'll reassess her situation and realize practicality - the difference between reality and dreamed-of desires.  Thanks.

Definitely praying, Al ... I know what you're going through, especially the concern for your young granddaughter.  It is so important for kids to have stability in their life.  As parents we wish we could still have some sort of control over our children's choices ... or lack thereof :-\ ... but then we know that the only One in control is our Heavenly Father.  I have walked through this same concern more than once.

I pray for you, Al, that you will find a place of perfect peace in knowing that God has everything under control .. we can trust Him.

I sure thank y'all for all your prayers.  We received an email from her a little while ago.  She has a very nice situation in which she can stay for a couple of months (or until she is employed).  Pray for good employment.
