Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I was just looking at Facebook and Etta Sue posted this about 1/2 hour ago...

Prayers needed.

At 12:25pm today I had a CRAO...Central Retina Artery Occlusion. In short that means I had a stroke in my right eye...a blockage in the central artery in my eye.

I saw my eye doctor who sent me right to a surgeon. She said that after all the tests and done all she knows to do...relieve pressure, remove some fluid and all, that all we can do now is pray that the particle blocking moves into small vessels so I can have partial sight in that eye. So since one can't have too many prayers said for them,

please pray that that tiny particle puts on its tiny traveling shoes and move to a small place. My left eye is my far sighted eye so I purchased some reading glasses to see things close. I know God answers prayers since I drove home from 82nd Street and I-69 with dilated eyes...in the snow...after dark and made it by the skin of my teeth. I love you all and thanks you.

I responded on Facebook, and I am definitely praying for Etta Sue.  Thanks, Pat.

Lord have mercy on our dear sister and work a miracle we pray, in the mighty name of Jesus, Who is the same today as ever Amen.

Tisie

Thanks for bringing the news to my mailbox.  My prayers are added to all the others for a complete fix for your eye, Etta Sue.  God Bless and give you a hug while you are under all this stress.  We know prayers work and that Angels are among us.  Love to you, Tisie/Shirley

Etta Sue, my prayers also that our Heavenly Father touch you.  And another plea that you "return to the fold" and come back to posting with us.

Update from EttaSue from Facebook

QuoteI went back to the eye specialist yesterday. First thing she said was 'Please, tell me you have more vision in your eye!' I told her I couldn't tell her that. So the prognosis is now I won't gain any more vision in my right eye. I need to get glasses and wear them all my waking hours to protect my right eye from any type of flying objects. And I need to get prescription lens for my left eye so I can see far and close. I used to wear progressive lenses with transition before implants so I need to go back to that. I have an eye appointment Tuesday. My depth perception is terrible!

Today Kitty drove me to my appointment since I would be dilated. Coming home I asked her to let me out at the mailbox. She wanted to wait and make sure I was in the house so she drove in Ivalou's drive. I got out and tripped on the road! Wind was blowing fiercely and snow on the road. I took about 3-4 big steps to keep from falling but fell in the middle of the road. I looked east and a car was coming. So I moved toward my mailbox. An angel in the red car stopped and asked if I was alright. I told him, I thought so but I couldn't get up. I got my right foot on the ground but could not get my left foot on the ground. He helped me up. Then Kitty gets out of her car. I was in her blind spot and she didn't see me fall!! She walked me to the house. My hands were so cold and shaking. Both knees were hurting but not bleeding. Finally my hands warmed up and Aspercreme...probably 25 years old...throughout the night has helped my knees. The wind is howling outside and we are to have more snow tonight! I wonder what this winter is going to be called. What ever I call it, it won't be a nice name. But it could be worse so I will take it!

Oh my!  What a terrible experience for Etta Sue, and that on top of the bad news about her eyes.  I pray the Lord will protect and heal her and give her peace and comfort.

Oh, Etta Sue, I am so sorry to hear there is no improvement in your sight!  I am still praying there will be.  Remember, doctors have been wrong many times!  God is your Great Physician!

So sorry, too about your nasty fall, but so glad you weren't seriously hurt, and had nothing broken.  Big hugs to you, my friend! (((((hugs)))))
